Redefin State Stud

Redefin State Stud is a commercial enterprise of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The stud currently has a staff of 30 employees and 12 trainees who look after around 130 horses. In addition to an EU insemination station for around 30 stallions, the Redefin State Stud also houses the State Riding and Driving School of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The state stud also recruits new breeding and riding horses from the stud’s own young stallion breeding program. As a modern service provider for horses, Redefin State Stud offers breeders in the catchment area various opportunities in the areas of breeding, training, presentation and marketing of their horses and actively participates in competitions with selected horses.

As a tourist hotspot in the state, the state stud is also a year-round destination for tourists and the location for various events, exhibitions and hippological highlights in the region. From classical music concerts to garden exhibitions, a wide variety of events take place, such as the Mecklenburg main licensing.
